Brother’s Brother Foundation Responds to Wildfire Disaster in California

Brother’s Brother Foundation, working with partner organizations Gleaning for the World and North Coast Opportunities in California, recently sent requested donated humanitarian supplies to those in need in California following the recent wildfires.

BBF, a 60-year old Pittsburgh-based international charity, has provided over 105,400 tons of medical supplies, textbooks, food, seeds, and other humanitarian supplies to people around the world in over 149 countries. With the help of gifts from the general public, corporations and foundations, in 2017 BBF sent product contributions to those in need in 58 countries. These shipments were the equivalent of 113 tractor trailer loads. In 2017 BBF also provided medicine and supplies for 343 hand-carry mission trips.

Forbes Magazine highlighted BBF with a 100% rating for both fundraising efficiency and charitable commitment of the 50 largest charities reviewed in 2017. The Better Business Bureau continues to give BBF its “Wise Giving Alliance Standards” seal of approval.

Donations to assist with relief efforts are greatly appreciated. Credit card donations can be made at www.brothersbrother.org or by calling BBF at 412-321-3160. Checks should be made to the Brother’s Brother Foundation and sent to:
