Donation Guidelines
While we prefer to deal directly with dealers and distributors for new products in this area, we appreciate donations of medical supplies that we receive from both groups and individuals providing they are pre-approved . The products donated to us provide our partners with goods that help in many projects in developing countries. You should be aware of some guidelines that will assure that your donation is accepted and used in these projects.
Donations BBF Accepts: |
Pharmaceuticals and supplies from manufacturers
Over-the-counter medication (best if used by date of at least 1 year)
*Short-dated pharmaceuticals from manufacturers
*Short-dated medical supplies
Hospital beds and equipment from facilities
Walkers, canes, crutches, potty chairs, etc.
Wheelchairs, non-electric preferable
Sample medicines
* (6 months or more remaining until expiration)

Donations BBF Is Unable to Accept: |
Items that have not be completely cleaned and sanitized
Expired items or items that will expire in less than 6 months (unless specifically requested by the recipient organization)
Prescriptions that have been issued to an individual
Most high tech equipment (call to be sure)
Dental equipment
Equipment in need of repair
