Our mission helps people, young and old, worldwide. However, BBF relies entirely upon the generosity and philanthropic nature of people like you who take it upon themselves to seek out ways to help those in need and make a difference in the lives of others. Your cash donation will allow us to pay shipping costs for containers of goods that will be sent to those in need.

Forbes, in its 50 Largest Charities of 2014 list, rated BBF as having a 100% fundraising efficiency rating. That means that your money is what is making a difference in the lives of the millions helped by Brother’s Brother Foundation.

BBF does not utilize any third-party software or service to handle donations. All donations are handled in-house by BBF staff over our secure site.

Giving Guidelines

From local private donations to large corporate shipments, Brother’s Brother Foundation is truly “connecting people’s resources with people’s needs.”

BBF ships to any location without regard to race, nationality and religious affiliations of recipients. Every donation makes a difference. A pair of crutches allows a man to walk in Nicaragua, while a book reaches eager students in Ghana.

Before dropping off donations, arranging a pick-up or mailing a donation, please take a moment to review BBF’s donation guidelines. Remember, all donations must be pre-approved. Please contact the appropriate Program Coordinator to receive approval. NO donation will be accepted without prior approval.

Once a donation is approved and received, you will receive a letter of acknowledgement.

If the used books meet these basic standards, BBF will then need to see an inventory list of the books before a final decision will be made. If BBF accepts the books, they must be brought to BBF’s warehouse or boxed and sent at the donor’s expense.
