BBF Supports More Shipments to 70 Hospitals and Clinics in Sierra Leone and Liberia, Two Countries at the Center of the Ebola Outbreak

Brother’s Brother Foundation continues to respond to the Ebola outbreak. BBF Pittsburgh loads another 40 foot container Tuesday, August 19, 2014 at11:00 a.m. for Sierra Leone for distribution among 50 hospitals and clinics that are part of the Christian Health Association of Sierra Leone (CHASL).  Shipment includes liquid soap, gloves, masks and other personal protective equipment as well as general medical supplies for the hospitals.
Four 40 foot containers are now en route, three to Liberia and one to Sierra Leone.  Additional shipments leave for Liberia from Dallas, TX in September.  One shipment left August 9th from Minneapolis, MN with gloves, gowns, face masks and hand sanitize requested by the Ministry of Health, Liberia.
Over the past three years BBF provided over 20 tractor trailer loads of medical supplies and simple medical equipment to hospitals and clinics in Sierra Leone (53) and Liberia (20).
