NOTED IN FORBES MAGAZINE’S 200 LARGEST CHARTIES LIST TIED FOR NUMBER ONE MOST EFFICIENT CHARITY IN 2011

Forbes Magazine, in its online ranking of the 200 largest U.S. charities, BBF was listed as having a 100% rating in fundraising efficiency, charitable commitment and donor dependency. BBF was noted in the article as tied for the number one position of the most efficient charity reviewed by Forbes. Also, The Better Business Bureau awarded BBF with its “Wise Giving Alliance Standards” seal of approval for another year.
BBF, a 55-year old Pittsburgh-based international charity, has provided over $4 billion of medical supplies, textbooks, food, seeds, and other humanitarian supplies to people around the world in over 146 countries. With the help of gifts from the general public, corporations and the US government, in 2011 BBF sent product contributions to those in need in 65 countries and furnished supplies for 270 medical and humanitarian hand-carry mission trips.
