Brother’s Brother Responds to Haiti Earthquake
January 12, 2010

Brother’s Brother’s Brother Foundation is responding to the devastating earthquake which struck Haiti today. BBF is working with partner organizations Food For The Poor of Miami and the Pittsburgh-based Functional Literacy Ministries of Haiti to send needed relief supplies. BBF will send requested pharmaceuticals, medical supplies and other humanitarian relief goods in the coming days.

BBF has a 40 year history of relief work in Haiti and has sent requested materials as recently as December 30, 2009 which included pharmaceuticals, surgical instruments, wheelchairs, and face masks.

Functional Literacy Ministries of Haiti is a Christian nonprofit organization with the mission of empowering Haitians with education, health care and hope. FLM Haiti is planning a medical mission trip, with the help of BBF, which includes doctors and nurses from Pittsburgh going to Haiti January 23- February 1, 2010 if the situation permits.

Donations to assist this effort are appreciated and should be labeled as
“Haiti Earthquake”.
