Brother’s Brother Foundation sent an unusually large amount of requested donations valued at over $70,000,000 in pharmaceuticals, medical supplies and other relief goods to those in need around the world in January 2008. These shipments were the equivalent of 39 ocean-going containers and included over 300,000 bottles and tubes of medicines, 100,000 pairs of new shoes and over 500,000 new books. Recipient countries include Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Haiti, Honduras, Jamaica, Liberia, Mongolia, Nicaragua, Nigeria, Paraguay, Peru, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Sri Lanka, Swaziland, Uganda and Vietnam.
